Setup Guide

Getting Started with ABYSSAL

Set up ABYSSAL on your Discord server in less than 2 minutes. Follow this guide to ensure proper role hierarchy, channel permissions, and instant web dashboard access.

1

Invite ABYSSAL to Your Discord Server

To invite ABYSSAL, you must have the Manage Server or Administrator permission on your Discord server.

2

Configure Discord Role Hierarchy

Discord enforces a strict permission hierarchy: a bot cannot moderate, mute, kick, or manage members who have a higher role than the bot's highest role.

Critical Setup Rule

Open Server Settings > Roles in your Discord client. Drag the ABYSSAL role as high as possible (immediately below Server Owner or Head Administrator roles). This allows AntiNuke, quarantine, and auto-moderation to protect the entire server without permission errors.

3

Verify Bot with Slash Commands

Once the bot joins your server, all 282+ slash commands are immediately registered with Discord. Try running these initial commands in any text channel:

/help — Opens the interactive command selector categorized by module
/language set <language> — Select from 20 supported languages (English, Turkish, German, etc.)
/antinuke setup — Enables instant server raid and rogue admin mass-deletion protection
4

Open the Web Management Dashboard

While every feature is accessible via slash commands, ABYSSAL's real-time Web Dashboard provides visual configuration for tickets, forms, custom banners, analytics, and music queues:

  1. Visit https://abyssal.bot/login and sign in with your Discord account.
  2. Select the server you wish to manage from the Server Selector.
  3. Configure all 39 modules with instant live synchronization to Discord.
